Service Description

Sticks, staffs, and wands have long been used as tools and symbols of higher forms of communication. The following Pima Indians story shows us this. “This man wandered through the darkness; he knew that he was there for some purpose. He put his hand over his heart, and drew fourth a large stick. He used the stick to help him through the darkness, and when he was weary, he rested up on it.” The stick, like the wand or staff is magical. In this class it serves a creative function in the process of transformation and manifestation. When used with fetishes like feathers and crystals and such, we are using it to connect with the natural world and the spirits and energies of it. It becomes an extension of your own energy and purpose. Each participant will choose from a variety of materials to create a prayer stick of their choice; It can be one for healing, one for protection, one for abundance, one for purification or one all purpose prayer stick you can use over. We end the class with a meditation, using the stick as an antenna to direct, receive, and channel energies. And as the feather moves and dances, the energy comes alive. Cancellation Policy

Cancelled classes will be resceduled. Make-ups do not carry over from previous semesters. Note: Holiday Closings DO NOT require make-ups as they are built into the schedule. For private sessions: cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance receive a full refund, or the deposit can be used toward another booking. For events: cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are refundable excluding the initial deposit, however the deposit can be used toward another booking.
